GOPAC Names Denver Host City for 5th Annual State and Local Summit

State Legislators Come Together to Defeat the Obama Agenda

Denver, CO – GOPAC will head to Denver, Colorado, this August for its 5th Annual State and Local Summit, where state legislative leaders from across the country will meet, debate and discuss conservative solutions and strategies to defeat the Obama Agenda this November.

Hosted by Colorado Speaker of the House Frank McNulty and Senate Minority Leader Bill Cadman, the three-day Summit will feature over forty state senate presidents, speakers of the house, legislative leaders and committee chairs for interactive seminars to discuss conservative ideas and policies. The three-day program provides attendees with policy briefings, issue discussions, and communications coaching on how to defeat the Obama Agenda.

“This year’s summit will be the premier event for conservative state leaders to come together, share ideas and strategize about how best to achieve our common goal of defeating the Left in 2012,” said GOPAC Chairman Frank Donatelli. “We are honored that Speaker McNulty and Minority Leader Cadman will be hosting this year’s summit. Colorado will play an important role in elections across the ballot this year, and we look forward to working closely with local leaders to increase the majority that Colorado House Republicans earned in 2010.”

“GOPAC’s leadership and focus on growing state and local leaders is critical to our overall success in Colorado,” said CO Speaker Frank McNulty. “By coming together at this year’s summit, Republicans across the country will join forces and become greater advocates of our positive message of job creation and economic opportunity.”

Members of GOPAC’s 2012 Legislative Leaders Advisory Board will also participate in this year’s summit, relaying their experiences in passing bold, conservative reforms in their respective states.
