GOPAC Hosts 2013 Emerging Leaders’ Summit

This coming week, GOPAC hosts its annual Emerging Leaders’ Summit in New York City. The event is the cornerstone of GOPAC’s Emerging Leader program, which provides outstanding state legislators with the skills to govern more effectively and the tools to run for higher office in the future. The program ensures the Republican Party has a healthy roster of prepared and tested leaders who are well equipped to lead their states or run for federal office.

The Summit’s comprehensive curriculum features interactive seminars and leadership training which prepare GOPAC’s 21 Emerging Leaders for the many obstacles faced by state legislators.

“There has never been a more critical time for the Republican Party to ensure we have prepared leaders who can move our party and nation forward,” said GOPAC Chairman Frank Donatelli. “GOPAC’s Emerging Leaders program provides comprehensive training to guarantee legislators have the short game to implement conservative reforms on the state level and the long game to run for higher office and lead the party for years to come.”

Attendees will hear from Republican Party leaders, policy experts, veteran lawmakers, and campaign strategists. Seminar topics will include fundraising, social media, communications strategy, and in depth analysis of conservative policies being implemented on the state level. In addition, legislators will have numerous networking opportunities to share experiences and best practices on the common issues facing every state in our nation.
