GOPAC invests $12,000 in Delaware State Senate Special Election
Election of Jon Marino Earns Republicans Majority Control.

Arlington, Va (February 8, 2017) – GOPAC today announced it will invest $12,000 to bolster Delaware Senate Republicans efforts to elect John Marino in the February 25th special election.

“We are pleased to join with Delaware Senate Republicans as they work to earn majority control for the first time in 44 years. With the current 10-10 tie, it is time for Republicans across the country to aid them in winning this decisive special election,” said GOPAC Chairman David Avella.

Through the GOPAC Election Fund, the $12,000 investment will be made in SENR PAC, the campaign committee of Delaware Senate Republicans. In addition, Chairman Avella will campaign with Senate Republicans on February 18th. Successfully electing John Marino will end the government-trifecta in Delaware and reduce the Democratic Party to just 5 states with complete control of the governor’s office and state legislature.
