Each week GOPAC will spotlight a candidate running for election. This week's Candidate in the spotlight is Arizona Representative Nancy Barto. Nancy Barto is a proven reformer who is running for her third term in the Arizona House of Representatives.

She has served on seven committees including Education, Higher Education, Homeland Security and Property Rights, Health, Vice Chairman of Human Services, Vice Chairman of Judiciary and Vice Chairman of Rules.

Prior to her service in the Legislature, Rep. Barto served as Chairman of the District 7 Republican Committee from 2002-2006. She was an involved parent volunteer in the schools and community throughout her career as a full-time mom and an effective public policy advocate for family issues, especially the sanctity of life.
