Today, the GOPAC Election Fund announced it will work to elect Iowa State Senator Joni Ernst to the U.S. Senate.
“Joni Ernst will bring a much needed voice to the U.S. Senate. In addition to bringing her experience as a solider, mother and state legislator, she will bring a commitment to lifting the burden DC is putting on Americans with its excessive spending. Plus Joni Ernst understands the value of the Senate Judiciary Committee being run by an Iowa farmer and not yet another trial lawyer,” said GOPAC Chairman Frank Donatelli.
“Our endorsement includes receiving the maximum allowable federal contribution. In addition, GOPAC members and followers will be encouraged to donate directly to Senator Ernst. We will also consider bolstering her through independent expenditures that will exclusively tout her biography and ideas for addressing the challenges facing America,” concluded Donatelli.
The GOPAC Election Fund is focused on assisting GOPAC affiliated state legislators running for federal office in their Primary and General Elections. Today’s endorsement follows the announcement of the GOPAC Election Fund working to elect T.W. Shannon in Oklahoma and Thom Tillis in North Carolina to the U.S. Senate. In addition, the organization has also endorsed Marilinda Garcia in New Hampshire, Barbara Comstock in Virginia and Jim Tracy in Tennessee for U.S. House of Representatives.
