Today, GOPAC announced it will begin investing in the elections for Colorado House of Representatives as it presents one of the best opportunities in the country to gain a Republican majority and further the organization’s efforts to build a roster of Republicans ready to lead.
GOPAC will be working to re-elect Representative Clarice Navarro-Ratzlaff in District 47 as well as elect Candice Benge in District 3, Marijo Tinlin in District 33 and J. Paul Brown in District 59.
“We are very pleased to add the Colorado House to our rankings of the best opportunities for Republicans to gain majority control of the state House of Representatives. GOPAC has been investing in Colorado House Republicans since 2010 and we look forward to our endorsed candidates joining GOPAC Advisory Board Member Libby Szabo and GOPAC Emerging Leaders Polly Lawrence, Clarice Navarro-Ratzlaff and Dan Nordberg to advance our common cause,” said GOPAC Chairman Frank Donatelli.
GOPAC’s endorsement includes each candidate receiving the maximum allowable contribution from GOPAC-Colorado. The organization will also consider promoting them through independent expenditures that will exclusively tout their biographies and ideas they are championing to increase job creation in Colorado. In addition, GOPAC members and followers will be encouraged to donate directly to each candidate. GOPAC is also supporting the Colorado Leadership Fund in its efforts to elect House Republican candidates.
The Colorado House now joins the West Virginia House, New Mexico House and Kentucky House in GOPAC’s 2014 rankings of the best opportunities for Republicans to gain majority control in state House Chambers.
