Arlington, VA (February 3, 2016) – GOPAC today announced the addition of two new staff members with Ashley Howes serving as finance coordinator and Jacqueline Wasem serving as communications manager. The GOPAC team is also excited to announce that Lauren Castellano will be moving from her position as finance coordinator to become GOPAC’s events manager.
Ashley Howes, Finance Coordinator
Ashley is a proud New Jerseyan who previously worked with the NRSC as finance budget coordinator and staff assistant for Representative Mark Meadows (NC-11). She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in December 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Energy Business and Finance. She will assist GOPAC’s finance manager with fundraising efforts and events.
Jacqueline Wasem, Communications Manager
Jacqueline joins GOPAC from Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ Washington, D.C. office where she was an account executive in the public affairs practice. She has experience working on issues ranging from nuclear energy to transportation security with expertise in social and digital media, traditional media relations, and both grassroots and grasstops organizations. She will be assisting GOPAC in handling press inquiries as well as general communications operations.
Lauren Castellano, Events Manager
Lauren Castellano joined GOPAC in May 2015 as finance coordinator after graduating from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in Political Science. In her new role as events manager, Lauren is responsible for day-to-day operations as well as facilitating GOPAC’s summits, conferences, seminars, and meetings.
