GOPAC expands finance department including promotion of Mary Claire Couch to finance director

Arlington, Va (June 5, 2017) – GOPAC today announced the expansion of its finance department with the promotion of Mary Claire Couch to the role of finance director and the addition of two new staff members. Joining the finance team are Ellen DelCotto, who will serve as finance coordinator and Ashley West, who will serve as finance assistant.

Mary Claire Couch, Finance Director
Mary Claire joined GOPAC in 2014 serving as finance coordinator then finance manager. In addition to her role at GOPAC, Mary Claire recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with her Master of Arts in Communication with emphases in Political Communication and Corporate and Non-Profit Communication. Under her guidance, GOPAC’s major donor programs grew a collective 51 percent in 2016. As finance director for GOPAC, The GOPAC Education Fund and The GOPAC Election Fund, she will continue to oversee membership building and donor communications.

Ellen DelCotto, Finance Coordinator
Ellen joins GOPAC from the Office of Congressman Harold Rogers where she served as a staff assistant and social media coordinator. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She will assist GOPAC’s finance director with traditional/direct mail fundraising efforts and events.

Ashley West, Finance Assistant
Ashley graduated college this May from Furman University where she majored in Political Science and Communication Studies. Her previous experience includes serving as a War Room intern for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and as a marketing intern for Arkiver in Greenville, SC. She will assist GOPAC’s finance director with traditional and digital fundraising efforts.
